A Note From Ms. Bradshaw:
Ms. Bradshaw needs chaperones for the Winter Choral Concert on Monday, December 11th.
The concert will features the Sixth Grade Chorus, the Seventh and Eighth Grade Full Chorus, and the Select Chorus. The students will arrive at 6:30 PM. The concert will begin at 7:00 PM and end by 8:00 PM.
Chaperones for the 6th grade will sit in the balcony with the Sixth Grade Chorus to help maintain appropriate audience etiquette while the other groups are performing.
Chaperones for the 7th and 8th grade will be with the Seventh and Eighth Grade students in the band room or room 20 during the other groups' performance watching the concert on a SMART board. They will then go to the auditorium and watch the Seventh and Eighth Grade Chorus perform.
It's time to show how much we appreciate our teachers and staff at the annual Holiday Luncheon to be held on Thursday, December 14, 2017. Please consider making a cash, food/food item contribution or even volunteer your time. Even the Grinch would want to make our teachers and staff feel special!
Any questions? Please email Maureen Griffis, firstname.lastname@example.org or Gabrielle Graziano, email@example.com .
We still need hot entrees, side dishes, salads, desserts and volunteers to help the luncheon run smoothly! To sign up click HERE.

9th GRADE PREVIEW NIGHT @ CHS
Attention 8th Grade Families, Mark your calendar for Monday night, December 4th, at 7 pm. Please join Principal Aaron in the CHS auditorium for a presentation about all that awaits you at CHS! This evening is designed for students and parent/guardian(s) to attend together. If you are unable to attend this event, your student is welcome to join another parent/guardian you know. Please do not send unattended 8th graders to this event. If you cannot make this night, please know there are ample opportunities this year to learn more about CHS, including when CHS counselors come to visit the middle schools during the course registration process, and when you are invited in the spring for another evening event and to take tours of the building. Please also bookmark the CHS calendar here, and join CHS at school events over the course of this year.

Parent/guardian permission will be required and students will only be permitted to go in groups of 3-4. More information is forthcoming.

We are in the process of planning a school-wide Spring Fair at MMS and are looking for a chairperson to spearhead this new and exciting event! Please contact Deb or Sara if interested.
MMS Library Media Center
The Library Media Center needs parent volunteers to check out, stack books, and help students print out documents through-out the day. Feel free to contact Tracey Clarke (HSA Special Projects) with any questions: Please email Tracey: firstname.lastname@example.org or check out the signup.
SAVE THE DATE! Please mark your calendars and plan to join in the fun for our biggest fundraiser of the year! February 2, 2018 at The Woodland. Come and show off your knowledge of pointless useless information. There will be fabulous food and you are welcome to bring whatever your drink of choice will be for the evening. Keep your eyes peeled for when ticket sales begin. Tickets always go fast, the Woodland has limited capacity and you don't want to be left out in the cold. Question: What is celebrated on February 2nd and has been since 1887? Please don't be fooled...the questions for Trivia Night are always much more challenging than this one.
Just in time for the holidays! Purchase any item on the Mighty Nest site and MMS will receive 15% of all purchases! Mighty Nest features housewares, water bottles, lunch gear, cleaning products and more. All items are sourced to make it easier for families to create a healthy home; each product has been thoroughly researched to be free of concerning chemicals and hand-picked for its quality and design.
