Hello MMS!
****THE PRINCIPAL’S CORNER****
Please click HERE for this week’s message from Ms. Gronau. In it please find important information on what you can do to ensure MMS is properly funded and staffed.
We hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend! Now we are back to a full week of school, YAY!!
A reminder from last week: As you may be aware, it is budget season in the district and MMS needs our active voices and involved parents to ensure our MMS students’ needs are met. We have many issues facing MMS and would love to have our parents and guardians take an active role in getting our voices heard at the District level. We need Guidance support and we need a STEM teacher, we also need Facilities support! Our school is beautiful but old. All it takes is a phone call or email, they listen to Parents! Please put this on your list to do this week, it will help.

Trivia Night
Please mark your calendars and plan to join in the fun for our biggest fundraiser of the year! February 2, 2018 at The Woodland. Come and show off your knowledge of pointless useless information. There will be fabulous food and you are welcome to bring whatever your drink of choice will be for the evening. Keep your eyes peeled for when ticket sales begin. Tickets always go fast, the Woodland has limited capacity and you don't want to be left out in the cold. Question: What is celebrated on February 2nd and has been since 1887? Please don't be fooled...the questions for Trivia Night are always much more challenging than this one.
We are continuing our goal of supporting open lines of communication with the MMS Administration and the District. Check our website ( www.mmshsa.org ), sign up for our weekly e-blasts, and join the HSA and Maplewood Middle School Families Facebook pages to stay updated on everything going on around MMS!
