MMS HSA News - Week 4
MAPLEWOOD MIDDLE SCHOOL HOME & SCHOOL ASSOCIATION
We hope things are starting to settle down after the start of the school year and as we start Week 4!
This is our first year at MMS (our daughters are 6th graders).  If this is also your first year at MMS, and if we haven’t done so already, we would like to extend a very warm welcome to each of you.
To both our new HSA members and returning members, we thank you for your contributions, time, and commitment to our organization, our teachers, and most importantly, our students.

We encourage each and every one of you to become a part of our team.  The number one reason to join the HSA is to benefit the students.  In doing so, you also help us.

 Other great reasons to join:
  • Get Connected - There’s no better way to know what’s happening at MMS.
  • Discover Great Resources - The HSA offers a variety of programs and has a wealth of information.
  • Tap into a Network - HSA functions are opportunities to meet other members and teachers/administrators, building rapport and discussing issues that are on your mind. You can share ideas, concerns, and experiences.
  • Speak Up – The HSA can be a way for you to more effectively suggest change at MMS.
  • Witness Improvement - By getting involved at MMS, you’ll be part of the solution, helping make positive changes. The HSA plays an important role by supporting building improvements through advocacy and play an important role in fundraising for curriculum based programs and social events.
If your schedule permits, we’d love to see you at our first HSA meeting of the school year.  It’s this Wednesday (09/25/19), at 7:30 p.m. in the MMS Library.

 This Week’s Reminders!
  • Wednesday, Sept. 25: HSA Meeting, 7:30pm at the MMS Library.
