MMS HSA News - Week 15 MAPLEWOOD MIDDLE SCHOOL HOME & SCHOOL ASSOCIATION Thanksgiving is over and we're into the full swing of December, so it's now time to say Happy Holidays from the MMS HSA.   In addition to the stress, December also brings cold and flu season and it is already affecting students.  Here are the CDC's tips on preventing the flu.  And, because December isn't busy enough... Dates to Remember this Week:  Tuesday, Dec. 10: 4-hour day for all students.  It's a professional development day for staff in the district.  Wednesday, Dec. 11: HSA Meeting (rescheduled from the 18th), 7:30p.m. in the MMS Library.  Thursday, Dec. 12: MMS Winter Choral Concert, 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13: Staff Appreciation Luncheon. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!!! from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please sign up if you can. It's time to show how much we appreciate our teachers and staff at the annual Holiday Luncheon to be held on December 13, 2019. We've gotten a lot of cash donations so please consider making a food donation or volunteering your time! Musical Movie Fundraiser Attend Opening Night of Jumanji: The Next Level AND raise money for the MMS musical! Check in for this special showing begins at 3:15 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 13 at the Maplewood Movie Theater. Tickets are $20 and include popcorn and a drink. Buy online here or send in a paper form. Tickets must be ordered by Dec. 12. HSA Meeting The next HSA meeting will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 7:30 p.m. in the MMS Library. Yearbooks on Sale!  Yearbooks are on sale!
