MMS HSA News - Week 18 MAPLEWOOD MIDDLE SCHOOL HOME & SCHOOL ASSOCIATION Welcome Back MMS Families! Hoping you had a restful winter break and are ready for 2020. A few reminders to kick of the short week: - Congratulations to the 6th Graders who won the Battle of the Classes!  - Thursday is a B Day and a regular full day of school. - After school YouthNet Registration is up - be sure to sign up here. - Next HSA Meeting is Wednesday, Jan. 15! - The SOMSD 2020-21 School Year Calendar is out!  You can find it here. Your MMS HSA, Veronica and Kelly Sign Up for YouthNet Winter 2020 Permission slips will be collected through the end of the week for the YouthNet Winter 2020 Season. Check out our selection of clubs and afterschool activities. The session begins Jan. 6. Donate to Classroom Libraries As we promote a love of reading at MMS, we would like our kids to have visually pleasing libraries and cozy places to read! Our teachers are looking for small bookshelves, bean bag chairs, and other comfy seating options for our kids. Pictured above is the library in 8th grade ELA teacher Ms. Herstatt's class. This is a sample of what we're looking for. Please reach out to Ms. Gronau if you have items you wish to donate.   HSA Meeting The next HSA meeting will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the MMS Library. SEPAC Meeting The next SEPAC meeting will be Wednesday, Jan. 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the Central Office District Meeting Room (525 Academy St., Maplewood). The target audience is anyone with a student in or entering middle school or high school. Yearbooks on Sale!  Yearbooks are on sale! Don't wait until it is too late. Order your copy today! Order and payment must be received by April 15, 2020. Download the yearbook order form or order online. Our school code is 6667. You can also order a Well Wisher online.
